In Articles by Abigail WilsonLeave a Comment

If you’re anything like me then you probably have one or two tricky presents left to tick off your list. Well, we at Into the Harvest are here to help with some of our favorite things we think anyone would be happy to unwrap on Christmas morning.

First off, we love a good Bible but we know there are a ton of options out there! Luckily, we have some favorites…

Andrew’s Pick

NASB Pitt Minion Reference Bible ($75)
Why I Like It:
Top notch binding
Lay flat design
Center column cross-references
Optimal size (5.4 x 1 x 7.7 inches)

Abigail’s Pick

The Complete Jewish Study Bible ($35)
Why I like it:
You can follow along with my morning Quiet Time in this Bible on Instagram and Facebook stories!
Tons of interesting Jewish and Hebrew facts.
Makes reading the Bible fresh for those who’ve been reading it for years.

Next up, we’ve made having time in prayer and in the Word part of our mornings for years, but we’ve also discovered the secret in making that possible. Coffee.

Andrew’s Pick

Bialetti 06800 Moka stove top coffee maker, 6 -Cup, Aluminum ($30)
Why I Like It:
Great for morning devotions!
Makes espresso shots or Cafe Americanos
Makes the perfect amount of coffee for 1-2 people
Bonus: Lavazza Caffe Espresso Ground Coffee Blend. Best coffee and price for this coffee maker!

Abigail’s Pick

Mueller French Press Double-Wall Stainless Steel ($35)
Why I Like it:
Anyone can make good coffee in a French Press!
This one keeps the coffee hotter for longer (perfect for mom life).
It’s so pretty!

If you’ve listened to our podcast then you know we love to read, so we’re trying to narrow down some of our favorites (but Andrew cheated).

Andrew’s Pick

Blinkist Year Subscription ($90)
Why I like it:
You can listen to or read book summaries.
Unlimited number of books.
Allows me to quickly preview books I may want to read before “committing.”
Allows me to quickly scan books I’m interested in but don’t want to read.
Great way to maximize time during commuting.

Abigail’s Pick

Misreading Scripture with Western Eyes ($13)
Why I like it:
Fascinating insights into the cultures represented in Scripture.
Helped me understand the Gospel on a new level.
Challenged the way I was reading my Bible.

And finally, we hope you’ve already passed on the love of Into the Harvest to your friends and family! So for all those new ITH super-fans…

Our Picks

Into the Harvest Swag for Supporters
Why we like it:
What better way to stuff someones stocking then with some awesome Into the Harvest Swag? At the same time you can support our ministry which will be bringing even more ministry content to all your media platforms in 2020!

The Day Between: A Memoir of Miracles
Why We Like it:
It gave Andrew the feeling of tears when he read it.
It took Abigail 5 years to write it.
We think it’s the perfect book for anyone who’s in a season of waiting on God’s promises. Or anyone struggling with grief or disappointment.
